Focaccia Bread Art Session – Connect: Neurodivergent Adults

We’re excited to invite you to our next Connect: Neurodivergent Adults session, taking place on Thursday 26th March at the Recreation Community Hub.

This session will focus on Focaccia Bread Art – a relaxed, creative activity where participants will decorate their own focaccia bread using vegetables and herbs. No baking experience is needed, and the emphasis is on enjoying the process rather than getting things “right”.

Why this session matters

Our Connect: Neurodivergent Adults group is funded by Abri Housing and was created in response to a real need for spaces where people feel safe, understood, and able to be themselves.

Shaped by lived experience, the group offers a calm and welcoming environment where adults can connect with others, try new activities, and build confidence at their own pace.

Creative sessions like this one are a great way to:

    • encourage gentle social interaction

    • reduce anxiety around new environments

    • build confidence through hands-on activities

    • create opportunities for peer support
